Harvellie border collies started with the purchase of Tandog ellie CD AD JD (ellie) in 2002,with a lovely pedigree behind her.Ellie never grew but she introduced me to showing,aglity and the obedience world her carrer was ended at a very young age due to a neck injury but we are just happy she is still in our lives enjoying just living a life of luxory.

 

My next dog was chosen after alot of research and was purchased from Tracey Lamb in QLD, in 2003, Fidelis lacys late edn CD HT (harvey) he has been shown very lightly and very close to his aust ch title he also has excelled in the obedience ring winning novice obedience at the adelaide royal show in 2005.In 2006 he was introduced to sheep and decided this was what he wanted to do and gained his HIC and HIT one after another and is very close to his PT title.

 

I loved my Fidelis dog and wanted another one and met cassidy at 6 months of age and was told she was not for sale in which was sad for me as i really liked her and she loved ellie and they became good mates after spending 2 weeks together whilst visiting in QLD.After i could no longer trial ellie tracey was kind enough to offer me cassidy who i could do anything with, with her outstanding willingness to do what ever you asked of her.She was the long awaited bitch i had been waiting for to start my kennel.So in 2006 Fidelis come n get me PT (cassidy)came to live with us at harvellie.

I Thanks Tracey very much for putting her trust in me  and sending me this beautiful little bitch .Cassidy was in her first jumping trial of only a few weeks of training at the 1st border collie nationals and came 5th with a quallie handled by Tracey Lamb.

 

Each of my wonderful border collies enjoys doing it's own individual activity so we are involved in showing,agility/jumping,games,obedience and herding,but not each dog enjoys doing them all so certain dogs do some and not the other.All Harvellie dogs are DNA tested or clear by parentage for CEA,TNS and CL,they are all Hip Scored and Temperament Tested before deciding if they are suitable for Breeding.
